It all started during the pandemic when I found myself helping a wave of fashion entrepreneurs eager to launch their own clothing labels. Many were particularly interested in producing Vintage washed Tees, but they often sent the wrong reference photos or examples that contradicted what they were asking for. This caused unnecessary delays in development, confused my team, and, quite frankly, I grew increasingly frustrated.
 

After chatting with some of our more experienced designers, I realized that even THEY weren't entirely clear on the specific industry terms and processes. That’s when I decided to film a quick video, showcasing a few T-shirts with various washes and explaining each one. Despite having no social media experience (and little patience for it), I uploaded that video and to my surprise, it quickly received lots of positive feedback from strangers who were thankful that I brought some clarity to the scene.
 

Since mid-2023, I’ve been making videos whenever I can squeeze in the time between running the day-to-day at Dragon Pacific Fashion. It’s become a labor of love. I plan to continue sharing industry tips and insights on new fabrications, especially as new techniques and processes emerge.
